History
Founded by Vahe and Vigen Badalyan, VBET started its journey having four employees only– including its founders. The newly established company first set up its premises in a small bookmaker shop in Yerevan, Armenia.
VBET’s founders introduced their betting and gaming website to the general public of the country. That was a revolutionary move in Armenia as not many online services existed in the country.
BetConstruct was unveiled to speed up and improve the development of VBET products and also serve as a B2B platform. VBET then became the B2C brand of BetConstruct.
VBET acquired the MGA’s (Malta Gambling Authority) license.
VBET is approved by the ANJ (National Gaming Authority) in France and by the UKGC (United Kingdom Gambling Committee). The brand was launched in the UK in the same year.
VBET obtained a license from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) and also signed a two-year sponsorship deal to become official betting partners of the historic French side AS Monaco. VBET UK recruited Northern Irish jockey, Brian Hughes, as its latest brand ambassador.
