He has a sporty family. His father trains children in his own gym.
His younger brother is also a wrestler. He is a champion of Armenia.
He admits that he practiced karate at first to swim in the swimming pool there.
But when his father took him to wrestling for the first time, he thought, "THIS IS MINE!"
